Outdoor City Guns to reopen following devastating fire

Outdoor City Gun will reopen following a fire back in January. (WJAC)

ALTOONA - Outdoor City Guns in Altoona plans to reopen after a fire destroyed the inside of the building in January.

The fire was ruled accidental by the fire inspector.

Damage to the store and products totaled almost $800,000.

The owner wants to sell everything damaged and then bring new products to the store.

The owner hopes to have the archery range running in about a month and the gun range could open as early as October.

The store will reopen to the public on Wednesday.
