Man charged in connection to fatal overdose
HUNTINGDON - State police in Huntingdon County have arrested a man in connection to a fatal overdose last year.
Zachary Gill, 23, is being charged with drug delivery resulting in death for his role in Matthew Stamp's May 2017 overdose.
According to a police report, officers found Stamp dead inside a car with three small stamp bags that appeared to be heroin inside his wallet.
An autopsy confirmed Stamp died from a fentanyl overdose.
During the investigation, troopers learned Stamp had purchased the drugs the night before his death.
Troopers were able to trace the drugs back to Gill.
A release said Gill confessed to investigators that he sold Stamp the drugs the night before he died.
