JOHNSTOWN – A Cambria County man is facing charges after allegedly distributing illegal drugs, District Attorney Kelly Callihan announced Friday.

Daricus Holliday, 32, of Johnstown, is charged with one count each of delivery of heroin, possession of heroin, and criminal use of communications facility.

On Tuesday, members of the Cambria County Drug Task Force conducted a controlled heroin buy from Holliday at his home on the 300 block of Ebensburg Road in the Prospect section of Johnstown.

On Thursday, authorities conducted a search warrant of Holliday’s residence, and recovered approximately six grams of cocaine with a street value of $600, $553 in U.S. currency, and two handguns, Callihan said.

Holliday was arrested for the controlled delivery he made earlier in the week.

Callihan said the investigation is still ongoing and additional charges will be filed.
