State police, coroner investigate shooting in Huntingdon County

CARBON TOWNSHIP - The Huntingdon County coroner was called to the scene of a shooting in Carbon Township Monday night.

Officials said the shooting happened on Sawdust Drive.

Bedford County 911 dispatch confirmed a call for a 20-year-old woman with a gunshot wound around 7 p.m.

Officials said a Saxton-area ambulance responded to the scene.

State police in Huntingdon are investigating, along with the coroner's office.
