Coroner: 20-year-old Moxham man was gunned down in alley
MOXHAM – A 20-year-old Moxham man who was gunned down in an alley early Wednesday morning has been identified as Jason Neill.
Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said Neill was pronounced dead at the scene off Cypress Avenue and Wheat Street at 1:02 a.m.
Lees said during a news conference Wednesday afternoon that an autopsy determined Neill died of multiple gunshot wounds.
No one has been charged in the shooting.
A homicide investigation is underway.
It is the county’s first homicide of the year, but at least the third time a person 20 or younger has been killed in two months, Lees said.
The shooting also comes a couple days after a teenager was shot and injured in the Hornerstown section of the city.
