Accused driver in fatal ATV crash jailed in Bedford County, official says
BEDFORD -- The man who police said was the driver in a fatal ATV crash that killed a Hollidaysburg Area High School student is in jail after he violated terms of his bail for a December DUI incident in Bedford County.
Bedford County District Attorney Bill Higgins said bail for the December DUI case against Trent Bilak, 23, of Everett was raised from $2,500 to $100,000 Monday.
Higgins said his office was informed that Bilak was under the influence at the time of the crash that killed Mikayla Focht Friday morning.
Bilak is in the Bedford County Jail. Currently, no charges have been filed against Bilak in Blair County in the deadly ATV crash.
