KING TOWNSHIP – Two men were taken to UMPC Altoona Tuesday after a three-vehicle crash in Bedford County.

State police in Bedford said the crash occurred at 2:21 p.m. when a Mercedes-Benz driven by Tiarra Beegle, 26, of New Paris, pulled into the path of a Kia Optima driven by Barry Yarnall, 68, of Osterburg, which was traveling south on William Penn Road.

Yarnall attempted to avoid the collision, police said, but was hit by Beegle’s vehicle. Yarnall’s vehicle spun multiple times and then struck a Dodge Avenger driven by Timothy Snowberger, 56, of Osterburg.

Police said Snowberger was taken to UMPC Altoona with a suspected serious injury and Yarnall with a suspected minor injury.

Beegle was not injured in the crash, but was cited for stop sign and yield sign violations.
