HIGHLAND TOWSNHIP – One person was taken to a hospital after surviving a three-vehicle crash involving two tractor-trailers and a car Tuesday in Elk County.

Highland Township Fire Chief Bill Edinger said the driver of one tractor-trailer that went over a bank injured his shoulder and was taken to UPMC Kane for treatment.

The driver of the car suffered a small laceration on her hand, but did not require treatment. The driver of the other tractor-trailer was not injured in the crash that happened around 9:18 a.m.

One tractor-trailer spilled plastic tubes. Crews are working to clean up debris now.
