58th Annual presentation of "The Search for Peace"
The show will be held at the Curwensville United Methodist Church from Dec. 1 to Dec. 3.

Ebensburg's Dickens of a Christmas
The 12th annual "Dickens of a Christmas" event will take place Dec. 1 through Dec. 3 in various locations throughout downtown Ebensburg.
The light-up ceremony on Friday evening at 6 p.m. will officially kick off the event.
Windber Santa Crawl
The event is Saturday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.at the Slovak Club in Windber.
There will be baskets, food, and plenty of drinks.
All donations will go to the Humane Society of Somerset County and Nardecchia Spay and Neuter.
34th Annual Festival of the Nativity
This event is happening Friday, Dec.1 to Saturday, Dec. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event will continue Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1:15 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
All the fun will take place at First Presbyterian Church in Johnstown.
It will feature multiple musical acts, nativity scenes, and a children's room for crafting and storytelling.
Polar Bear Plunge
The event is at Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. at Black Moshannon State Park.
Brave, generous volunteers will “plunge” into the chilly water for a good cause.
It helps raise money for the YMCA of Centre County which benefits several youth programs.
This event will be presented by the laurel highlands Chorale on Dec. 3 and Dec. 4.
The performance will be held at Somerset Church of the Brethren.

Breakfast with Santa
The event is on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Parents, grandparents, and children will get the chance to meet Santa.
It cost $5 a plate.
Proceeds benefit the East Taylor Fire Company.
