SIDMAN -- Don Bailey has been coaching high school football for 43 years. Training camp and two-a-day practice sessions never get old for the longtime Forest Hills head coach.
What keeps him going is the idea of continuing to build the program.
The Rangers went 5-5 last year while several younger players were thrown into the mix.
Bailey is banking on those same players stepping up this season.
"Being a coach that's been around for 43 years now, it's always nice to see a young group that's enthusiastic and has a lot of skill set to go with the enthusiasm," Bailey told 6 Sports.
"I think I'm sticking around long enough to gain some of the fruits of that labor."
Forest Hills will play at Westmont Hilltop to open the season.
